On December 31, 2024, the Kalam Auditorium witnessed an inspiring and thought-provoking session as B.Com (CA) and B.Com (PA) students gathered for the MSME Orientation Program. Themed “Viksit Bharat 2047,” the seminar aimed to ignite the minds of young learners and motivate them to actively contribute to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by the centenary of its independence.

The session was led by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Palanisamy, a prominent advocate for entrepreneurial growth and economic development. He captivated the audience with his insights into India’s current growth trajectory, the challenges the nation faces, and the crucial role that today’s youth can play in overcoming these obstacles. Mr. Palanisamy emphasized how small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) serve as the backbone of India’s economy, creating jobs, boosting innovation, and driving sustainable development.

Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, the speaker highlighted how entrepreneurial skills, digital literacy, and innovative thinking could empower students to become contributors to India’s growth story. He also introduced students to government initiatives supporting MSME growth, such as startup grants, skill development programs, and mentorship platforms.

The session concluded with a powerful reminder: “Viksit Bharat is not just a dream but a responsibility shared by every citizen, especially the youth who hold the power to shape the future.” Inspired and motivated, students left the auditorium with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
