This engaging event aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse while encouraging them to become advocates for a drug-free society.

    The quiz served as a powerful platform to test students’ knowledge about the harmful effects of drug addiction, its impact on mental and physical health, and the importance of making informed choices. Participants faced multiple rounds of challenging yet informative questions covering topics such as drug prevention strategies, rehabilitation programs, and the legal consequences of substance abuse.

Organized with the aim of reconnecting students with India’s rich cultural heritage, the event offered a refreshing break from routine, encouraging teamwork, physical fitness, and mental agility.

    Traditional games have long been an integral part of India’s cultural fabric, passed down through generations as more than just pastimes. They teach valuable life skills such as strategy, coordination, and resilience while fostering social bonds. The event provided students with an opportunity to experience these age-old games, many of which they might not have encountered before.

    From Pallanguzhi and Kho Kho to Lagori and Kabaddi, the campus transformed into a vibrant playground. Students enthusiastically participated, forming teams across departments, breaking down barriers, and enjoying healthy competition. From 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, B.Com (CA) and B.Com (PA) students came together for an hour of food, fun, and insightful discussions.

    The objective of this Taste Fiesta was twofold. Firstly, it provided an opportunity for students to celebrate their diverse culinary backgrounds by bringing dishes prepared from their own recipes or cherished family traditions. This potluck-style setup not only filled the room with a vibrant mix of flavors but also set the stage for a deeper exploration of college dining habits.     From October 8, 2024, to October 15, 2024, a select group of I Year and III Year B.Com (CA) and B.Com (PA) students embarked on a five-day industrial visit to Hutsun Agro Product Ltd in Uthiyur. This immersive experience provided firsthand insights into the thriving world of agro-processing, with a special focus on dairy production.

    At Hutsun Agro, renowned for its diverse range of dairy products—including fresh milk, creamy curd, delectable ice cream, and high-quality paneer—students observed the intricate journey from raw material to finished product. The visit was meticulously designed to explore the complete production process, where each step is closely monitored to maintain superior quality. Students learned about stringent quality control measures that ensure every product meets high industry standards.

    Additionally, the experience shed light on the robust supply chain management practices employed by Hutsun Agro to efficiently distribute their dairy products.     Kicking off at 9:30 AM and running until 3:30 PM, the event was meticulously structured to test a wide array of skills—from general knowledge and analytical reasoning to quick thinking and strategic problem-solving. Each round of the competition was crafted to foster a spirit of inquiry and ignite the flame of learning, pushing participants to delve deep into subjects that spanned current affairs, history, science, and beyond.
