On January 27, 2025, the Department of B.Com (CS), in collaboration with the Anti-Drug Club of Kangeyam Institute of Commerce (KIC), organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Quiz Competition at the KIC Seminar Hall. This engaging event aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse while encouraging them to become advocates for a drug-free society.
The quiz served as a powerful platform to test students’ knowledge about the harmful effects of drug addiction, its impact on mental and physical health, and the importance of making informed choices. Participants faced multiple rounds of challenging yet informative questions covering topics such as drug prevention strategies, rehabilitation programs, and the legal consequences of substance abuse.
Beyond the competitive spirit, the event promoted critical thinking and created awareness about the importance of staying vigilant against peer pressure and societal influences. It also encouraged open discussions, empowering students to spread awareness among their peers and communities.
The enthusiastic participation and collaborative spirit displayed by the students reflected their commitment to building a healthier, drug-free environment. The Anti-Drug Awareness Quiz Competition not only highlighted the dangers of substance abuse but also inspired students to become responsible citizens, promoting positive lifestyles and supporting those in need.
